{"id":271,"date":"2016-03-11T23:59:29","date_gmt":"2016-03-11T23:59:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/runspoonsrun.co.uk\/?p=271"},"modified":"2016-03-12T12:04:07","modified_gmt":"2016-03-12T12:04:07","slug":"11316-oh-crystal-palace-what-have-you-done","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/runspoonsrun.co.uk\/?p=271","title":{"rendered":"11\/3\/16 &#8211; Oh Crystal Palace, what have you done?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/runspoonsrun.co.uk\/?p=189\">nightmare scenario<\/a>\u00a0is at hand&#8230; Palace are through to the Semi-Finals of the FA Cup.<\/p>\n<p>One game will be on Saturday, the other on Marathon Sunday, so it&#8217;s 50\/50\u00a0as to whether I&#8217;ll be going.<\/p>\n<p>Not that I wanted us\u00a0to lose, I&#8217;m delighted, of course and it&#8217;s been such a good week in so many other respects:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Carter Gig download &#8216;The Elmers End Riot&#8217; passed \u00a3500 for each of our charities;<\/li>\n<li>My own sponsorship target passed the minimum amount required to be raised by Independent Age (still a way to go to hit my target though);<\/li>\n<li>My weight loss since the start of training is now 15 pounds. That&#8217;s over a stone less I&#8217;ll be carrying around London in 43 days time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And now Palace are at Wembley, can my luck hold out for another piece of good fortune &#8211; a Semi on a Saturday?
