11/3/16 – Oh Crystal Palace, what have you done?

The nightmare scenario is at hand… Palace are through to the Semi-Finals of the FA Cup.

One game will be on Saturday, the other on Marathon Sunday, so it’s 50/50 as to whether I’ll be going.

Not that I wanted us to lose, I’m delighted, of course and it’s been such a good week in so many other respects:

• The Carter Gig download ‘The Elmers End Riot’ passed £500 for each of our charities;
• My own sponsorship target passed the minimum amount required to be raised by Independent Age (still a way to go to hit my target though);
• My weight loss since the start of training is now 15 pounds. That’s over a stone less I’ll be carrying around London in 43 days time.

And now Palace are at Wembley, can my luck hold out for another piece of good fortune – a Semi on a Saturday? (ooo-er missus)

It’s going to be an agonising wait to find out.
